Can I take the SIE without an employer?
Yes. FINRA permits individuals age 18 or older to enroll without association with a member firm. Passing the SIE alone does not register you to conduct securities business.
Which exams appear on the SoFi Investment Specialist route?
SoFi’s official Investment Specialist II posting for Jacksonville, reviewed September 9, 2026, says candidates must already hold Series 7 + 63 + 65 or Series 7 + 66. That is one dated opening, not a universal or permanent SoFi requirement. Verify the exact live role on SoFi Careers. If you do not hold Series 7, ask whether a separate trainee or licensing role exists rather than assuming this II-level opening sponsors it.
Is this beta enough on its own?
No. The current bank contains one original full-length practice form for the SIE, Series 7, Series 63, Series 65, and Series 66, plus a blueprint-balanced 25-question SIE checkpoint. Every form still awaits independent securities-expert review and is not a substitute for a comprehensive course or multiple fresh timed mocks.
